背郭堂成蔭白茅，
緣江路熟俯青郊。
榿林礙日吟風葉，
籠竹和煙滴露梢。
暫止飛烏將數子，
頻來語燕定新巢。
旁人錯比揚雄宅，
懶惰無心作解嘲。

<Translation>
In the back of the city my reed roofed cottage is built;
By the riverside path it e'er looks on the green field . 
The leaves of alders rift the sun and sing in the breeze ; 
The dews drip down the bamboos ' tips with misty wreaths . 
The birds with their fledgelings roost there for a rest , 
The churring swallows frequent to make a new nest . 
Some others mistake to compare here to Yang Xiong's house ; 
I'm too lazy to write " Excuse " to stop their mouth .
